This is a live take from a project called What's Up in the Attic, a double disc of covers performed by a collection of the Eddies Attic regulars circa 1992 when the club first opened. I performed this song for a few years after first hearing it but hadn't played it for some time when I was invited to play a song for the record. I remember getting in an argument with an old girlfriend before I hit the stage so the resulting take has an angry edge to it. Suits the song though. One of Dylan's great early story songs
