In another lifetime I sang in a four piece vocal harmony group called the Wagonwheels that played around Atlanta in the early 90′s. We formed spontaneously and imploded within a year but in that year we made some beautiful music. It was far and away the most powerful experience I ever had singing onstage. Unfortunately we never cut an album though there are a few cuts in different people’s hands that I’ve heard over the years. I’m glad this one was salvaged. Thanks to Don Mac for mastering it and for the add to smooth out the rough bits. This lost song is dedicated to the late Uncle Mark Reynolds who was the Wheels anchor singing bass, not in his comfortable range, which was usually a powerful tenor. Mark was an incredible songwriter and you should do yourself a favor and search out his music if you’ve never heard him. Oh yeah, and one of my favorite peeps in the whole world, Ashley Wilson, sings on it too. Enjoy!
